The only time I've made jam was a couple years ago. I had the help of my aunt, grandma and mom in the process. This is the first time I attempted it on my own.
And... somehow I messed it up. Jam is supposedly easy. And this was FREEZER jam. Which is supposed to be RIDICULOUSLY easy. I'm really good at messing up the easy stuff.
Seriously, I just barely mastered pancakes.
I have a few more boxes of pectin in the pantry. Maybe I'll roll up my sleeves and try it again, hopefully with better results.

Yeah why is it that something you've watched your mom and grandma do your whole life can be so hard! I just messed up all of our freezer jam too! :)
