1 recipe of your favorite pizza dough
1 lb. Italian sausage, cooked and sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Make pizza dough according to directions. Roll pizza dough out into 4 8-inch circles. Fill half of each circle with sausage, broccoli and cheese. Fold over and pinch dough together to create calzone. Bake at 425 for 25 minutes.
*This was yummy, but I think next time I would add some spices like fresh basil or oregano. Zucchini would be a great substitution for the broccoli, too!
